Who We Are
The future of our complex and constantly changing world is in the hand of today’s students—tomorrow’s leaders. Greenland Public School, Duhai provides students with an international and exciting educational experience that is designed to help them become caring, thoughtful, principled and well-balanced human beings. Students have the opportunities to learn to communicate effectively, become technologically literate and take risks in a supportive environment. Greenland Public School, Duhai established in 1988, is an English medium co-educational school that is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education C.B.S.E. It is the beginning of a lifelong adventure known as learning. The School nurtures a spirit that fosters children’s natural inquisitiveness and delight in learning.

Parent Teacher Interaction
Since the experiences of the children at the school and the home are equally significant for the development of all the children, DPS Meerut encourages harmonious interaction in thinking & approach between the caretaker at home and in school. Thus the school continuously works to establish an open channel of communication between the parents and the teachers. From time to time, the school organizes open house for parents to interact with the teacher & the school counselor. The overall purpose is to enable positive collaborative efforts to build on the child's strengths.
The school welcomes constructive suggestions & ideas from all the parents to make their children's development more meaningful and real.
Students Life-Outside the Classroom
Students at Greenland Public School School are always excited to get involved in our after-school activities. We provide a variety of options for all types of interests, and encourage students to find the best fit for them.
Developing All Round Excellence
The Academic Curriculum is enriched by an extensive programme of clubs, house activities, monthly events, annual productions as well as opportunities to participate in inter-school competitions. Students are encouraged to explore all facets of their personality, to explore new activities and develop their talents to the full.
The Student Council offers leadership opportunities to students of classes V, VI, IX, XI and XII. They develop their leadership abilities through discussion, debate and taking the initiative on a host of issues relevant to their life at school and beyond.
Community Service within the School recognises the need for students to reach out to those less fortunate than themselves. Examples of initiatives include donations from their Start Up.
Sports
Sport is an integral part of the School curriculum. Students have the opportunity to participate in a range of sporting activities, both during the School day and in out-of-school sessions.
In the primary wing, students choose from cricket, football, Judo, carrom, table tennis and chess. Well-qualified sports coaches lead these sessions.
Judo, badminton, carrom, table tennis and chess are offered as choices to secondary and senior secondary students. Warm-up and warm-down are also part of each sports session.
Out-of-School hours activities include Judo for primary secondary and senior secondary students, football and cricket for primary students, also led by well-qualified sports coaches.
Sport is also a part of the inter-house activities and Greenland Public School students compete successfully in inter-school, district, national and state tournaments and championships. At Greenland Public School, sport is seen as a vehicle for developing the values of collaboration, resilience, adaptability and respect.
Yoga
Yoga is an integral part of the curriculum, supporting students to nurture their own well-being, including reducing stress and anxiety, improving memory and increasing self-confidence, improving flexibility, balance and posture, and teaching correct breathing techniques.
Yoga also promotes mindfulness, learning to be in the present. Focusing on your breath or directing your attention to the furthest sounds you can perceive is mindfulness. Mindfulness enables our students to become less anxious and more relaxed.
Community Service
Community Service within the School recognises the need for students to reach out to those less fortunate than themselves. Examples of initiatives include donations from their Start Up Superstars business, book donations to fellow students and support for national disasters. Students are also actively supporting the #IPledge to reuse campaign and donating their textbooks: “Your book is more than you think!”
